Craft Time

I am trying to do some productive things with Emma this summer. My friend Brooke has the same idea, so we went to the dollar store and got a bunch of things to do with the girls. At first we were doing the crafts together but the girls seem to have a love hate relationship so we decided to do the same crafts but at our own house. We found the ideas on a girls blog called "no time for flashcards" it is on my blog list. So far we have done the letters A and B and tomorrow we will be doing C, I thought I would post what the projects look like so if anybody wants to do them they can. We also go to the library and get the books that go along with that letter that we are talking about. Anyways, its just a fun little thing to do and Emma gets so excited when I tell her we are going to do a project or paint.

Fourth of July

Every year on the fourth of july we go to the centerville parade, I love it so much cause it is the one that has the jets fly over. I also love parades because my grandpa loved them so much, whenever a marching band comes by I can't help but think of him and how much I love him. I can't believe he has been gone for 7 years now. I miss him a lot.

like i said, emma loves her daddy, its pretty funny when she is on his shoulders like this she sits and pulls on his ears. We always tease prest about his prophet ears and how emma is just going to make them bigger :)

once again emma won another fish, we still had the two fish from last year and sadly after we put the new one in with the other two all three of them died. I blame the new fish!!

Mathew's Family reunion

This post is well over due. But here it goes!!
This year the reunion was at Grandpa's house up in burley idaho. Here are some of the kids having fun on a old wood swing

these are just some of the tents in the backyard, emma was so excited to sleep in a tent and then the rain started, so preston went out to make sure nothing was getting wet and our tent had a leak and emmas stuff got all wet, so we ended up sleeping inside, which was fine by me cause I wasn't looking forward to sleeping outside with gracie.

WB fourth of July Parade.

sorry for the post overload, things have been so busy lately so here is what we have been up to for the last couple of weeks
last sat was the west bountiful parade. we went with a bunch of family and friends. after the parade we went to the park and played. we had emma and brielle get their face painted, it was a very fun day

The Bumbo....greatest invention ever!!

I have been telling my mom about these and how bad I wanted one so what does she do?? She buys us one, what a nice mom I have. Grace loves this little seat, her head was a little wobbley at first but she is doing a lot better. Who ever thought of this is a genius. It must have been a women ;)

so long, farewell

Well chase has been gone for a week and a half now, and it feels like a lot longer than that, oh well, i wouldn't have him be anywhere else. Here are some pictures of the night before and the day he left. The night before he left for the MTC we went to texas roadhouse for dinner with our family and the geurts family (chase's girlfriends family) it was a lot of fun, then chase took Kaylee home, which was really really hard for the both of them and their was lots of tears involved. We really grew to love Kaylee these last two years that they have been together. The rest of the pictures are of the day he left, I had the chance to drive down to Provo with chase and my parents so Preston and the girls said goodbye to him before. The picture of Chase saying goodbye to Emma just kills me, when I took it I didn't realize that he had started to cry when he said goodbye to her. I hope she feels lucky, chase only cried saying goodbye to Emma and Kaylee.

Happy Fathers day!!

I know this is a little late, but I just wanted to thank all the dads in my life. First off is my father in law, I am so lucky to have married into such a good family, Dave is such a good man and Im grateful to have him as a father in law.
Next is my dad, words really can't describe how much I love this guy. I look up to him in so many ways. I am his little girl and I love that, Dad i hope you know how much I love you!!! You are truly one of my best friends.
And last is my wonderful husband, I know I don't say it enough but I love you babe, he has helped me become such a better person, (I know I still have a ways to go) thank you for all that you do for our little family, I love you so much!!!

it was just a little too quite downstairs so we went to find all the kids and I open up the closet door to find this. Meg was reading books to the girls. Cousins are so much fun.

Best Friends

Emma and Lily have so much fun together, yes they do fight sometimes but for the most part they love to be with each other.
Here are the girls doing crafts, they painted pictures frames and the made sun visors. We stripped them down so they wouldn't get paint on their clothes, so they got it on their faces instead.



We went to the zoo and the girls had to much fun, even though it rained. (if you read my blog you know that it always rains when we go to the zoo)

How can you tell its summer??

Just look at those legs, summer is FINALLY here and you can tell by the bruises that emma is having way to much fun. The girl is all over the place, causing lots of trouble and having fun doing it.

We have no idea where she got this one on her forehead but it took so long for it took go away. Knowing her she bumped into a wall (she does that all the time) I have no idea where she gets her clutzeness from ;)

Jump on it

Sorry for the post overload, i have a spare minute so I am doing a lot at one time
So the day after chases farewell we went with our family and the geurts girls (chase's girlfriend and her sisters) to a place called Jump on it in lindon. It was kinda a long drive but it was totally fun when we got there. Its 10000 square feet of trampolines and you just go and well, jump.They even have tramps on the walls and if you were brave enough you could jump off the walls ( i was not brave) It was so so much fun. they have an area for little kids and one for big kids and the nice thing is that it is all open so I could be in the big area and still see emma in the little area. They also have some blow up toys and a toddler play area, still you can see everything any where you are. It was a lot of fun.
